Derbyshire County Council strengthens brand and integrates processes

Following extensive research and analysis of requirements and options, the
council’s communications division and business centre implemented Panacea
Software in 2017, with the following objectives:

• Create an efficient and shared process for all design and print in order to save time and money for the council

• Improve productivity for both teams and ensure best use of the expertise and facilities in the council’s print unit

• Allow council officers to use branded templates to create their own

By implementing Panacea Software we have created a simple, shared workflow for all design and print to make these services more efficient and a more productive use of in-house resources. By doing this we ensure better use of the expertise and facilities in our print unit. Streamlining our processes has eliminated replication of data input and my team now spend less time on administration, so reducing corporate expenditure. The software provides instant and comprehensive management reports to support and inform effective management decisions and respond to supplier challenge and FOI requests.

“We started using Panacea when we introduced a new corporate identity.
Working with Panacea, we created a suite of templates for a variety of posters
and leafl ets. Panacea gave us the opportunity to be able to let offi cers across the
council produce posters and simple leafl ets in the new corporate style at no cost
for the design. The templates are used across the council and ensures that jobs
are created in our corporate style.”
