Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea’s rates newly outsourced print services as outstanding
In October 2013, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s print services function and the in-house team responsible for this work was transferred to Amey as part of a new Total Facilities Management contract.
Throughout the same financial year, facing the challenges of change management, staff mobilisation and detailed knowledge transfer, the print team fulfilled over 2150 orders and provided a consistently high-quality service to the council.

Panacea Software interfaces with the council’s intranet to allow officers to generate print estimates, place orders and create stationery artwork. This simple and efficient workflow allows us to automate much of the admin involved in fulfilling the council’s print requirements. With this in place, our customers’ experience of the transfer of services to Amey has been seamless.
I would recommend Panacea to any team facing the difficult task of managing a high volume of work while needing to reduce costs and improve services. I do not think there is any other software which allows you to purchase print so effectively within OJEU procurement guidelines. Panacea has made enough savings to pay for itself many times over and allows us to support many of the council’s objectives.
